In addition to constantly improving our search algorithms to
provide the best answer to your queries, we also look for ways to
help when you don't know what exactly to type into the search
box to get to the perfect result. When you are looking for
information on a specific topic, we offer query suggestions on the
search results page that you can click on to find information
faster. Sometimes, the suggestions enable you to quickly narrow
down the search. Sometimes, we present interesting related concepts
that encourage you to explore further.

You won't see these suggestions all the time; we only present
them when we think they are relevant and useful.

We launched search suggestions in a set of countries a while ago,
and even wrote about them in href="http://google-au.blogspot.com/2007/06/may-i-offer-you-suggestion.html"
id="d0zk" >Australia, href="http://googlebrasilblog.blogspot.com/2007/09/posso-te-dar-uma-sugesto.html"
id="uaxh" >Brazil and href="http://googlemexicoblog.blogspot.com/2007/06/por-abhinandan-das-ingeniero-de.html"
id="zve6" >Mexico. Now, we've expanded our
coverage to a much larger set of languages. Now, when you're
searching on Google you're likely to see suggestions in your
local language.

For help with local travel, Hungarians can get some great
suggestions on href="http://www.google.hu/search?hl=hu&q=budapest" id="drdj"
>Budapest, Slovaks may want to go to href="http://www.google.sk/search?hl=sk&q=bratislava" id="e6g8"
>bratislava, and Romanians can find helpful
information on href="http://www.google.ro/search?hl=ro&q=bucuresti" id="r5px"
>bucuresti. In Thailand, you're probably
interested in relaxing on a beach in href="http://www.google.co.th/search?hl=th&q=phuket" id="hxpo"
>phuket. If you are in Vietnam, you might search
the popular tourist destinations href="http://www.google.com.vn/search?q=nha trang " id="n97v"
>Nha Trang or href="http://www.google.com.vn/search?q=hoi an " id="aqqk" >Hoi
An.

If you are in soccer-crazed (read, football crazed) Europe, you can
look up your favorite football topics on Google. Check out how your
local Moscow href="http://www.google.ru/search?complete=1&hl=ru&newwindow=1&q=футбол"
id="sd1j" >футбол team, href="http://www.google.ru/search?complete=1&hl=ru&q=спартак"
id="dnao" >спартак is doing. Turkish fans can
also search local stars from href="http://www.google.com.tr/search?hl=tr&q=galatasaray"
id="idb7" >galatasaray or href="http://www.google.com.tr/search?hl=tr&q=beşiktaş"
id="xfwt" >beşiktaş.

Looking for a local entertainment update? Look up your favorite
singers href="http://www.google.co.il/search?hl=iw&q=שלמה ארצי "
id="i-d7" >שלמה ארצי in Israel, and href="http://www.google.com.tr/search?hl=tr&q=ibrahim tatlises"
id="hg_x" >ibrahim tatlises in Turkey.
Russians, you could be interested in the popular Russian TV series
href="http://www.google.ru/search?complete=1&hl=ru&q=кадетство"
id="t4dt" >Кадетство.

Query suggestions are now available in about 40 languages
worldwide. If you don't see them in your country, we're
working on getting them to you soon.

Our feature presentation

In April we announced that we were working to href="http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2007/04/were-expecting.html" >bring
presentations to Google Docs. (Astute readers may recall
learning about this href="http://googlesystem.blogspot.com/2007/02/google-presently.html" >
even earlier, which caused a bit of excitement around here.)
And today we're unveiling the new Google Docs presentations
feature and invite you to try it at href="http://docs.google.com/" >documents.google.com. Maybe more
than any other type of document, presentations are created to be
shared. But assembling slide decks by emailing them around is as
frustrating as it is time-consuming. The new presentations feature
of Google Docs helps you to easily organize, share, present, and
collaborate on presentations, using only a web browser.

Starting today, presentations — whether imported from existing
files or created using the new slide editor — are listed alongside
documents and spreadsheets in the Google Docs document list. They
can be edited, shared, and published using the familiar Google Docs
interface, with several collaborators working on a slide deck
simultaneously, in real time. When it's time to present,
participants can simply click a link to follow along as the
presenter takes the audience through the slideshow. Participants
are connected through Google Talk and can chat about the
presentation as they're watching. Not wanting anyone to feel
left out, we've made the presentation feature available in 25
languages; Google Apps
customers can also access it as part of Google Docs.

We hope the millions of people who already create and share
documents and spreadsheets will find presentations a welcome
addition to the Google Docs family, and we can't wait to add
even more features and enhancements.

If you're new to Google Docs, watch this video to learn more
about creating and collaborating on documents (and now
presentations!).
